very busy

Hi! It's been a while, been very busy these last few days, cleaning the house, replacing damaged appliances and buying new clothes and I would like to say that we are OK and recovering from that traumatic saturday disaster.

I'll do my best to upload pictures this coming weekend, need to get back to work now.

Typhoon Ondoy, Saturday, September 26, 2009

6am

I got out of the office earlier that scheduled to attend Family Day in school. It was raining since last night. When I got home, Tenten was crying because their dad said we won't be going to school anymore because of the heavy rain. He tried to reason out, said his teacher told them that their report card will not be released if they will not attend the said activity.

7am

So I went to school with Tenten. There were only 10% of total attendees. My fault, I didn't know that the school principal announced thenight before that the event is cancelled due to typhoon. We went home around 8am and I started preparing breakfast. Journey had his oatmeal, Tenten ate the sandwich we bought at the school canteen, Chanel had her usual milk and gardenia bread and Jake was having his morning rituals. I took a nap to recharge before doing the household chores.

I'll be back tomorrow again, still busy cleaning the house.

Typhoon Ondoy

I am still in shock over what happened. We are affected by the typhoon Ondoy last Saturday. Everything was wiped out but the good things is that we are all safe.

I'll be back tomorrow for the details of what happened last weekend. Hope I can upload some pictures too.

Busy Wednesday

I was not able to post anything yesterday coz' hubby needed to attend an emergency meeting at the office. I was the only one left at home. Nanay is sick , went to Montalban to take a rest with Tatay, so there's nobody to help me out. Kids were still in school. Then when they got home, told me that there will be a Family Day in school this coming Saturday,.

My toddler Jake

Earlier today, I was reading the "Editor's Notebook, Courage of Love" by Baby Magazine when my toddler started "snatching" the magazine away from me. I gave him another old magazine and some toys to keep him busy but my oh my! He just kept on taking it away from he. I finally gave him what he wanted and started on writing something for my blog but he instead took the paper and the pen I was holding.

This is the moment where mom should keep their cool, close their eyes and count to ten and think what is the better way to handle situations like this.

We ended up watching his favorite tv show Sesame Street while he was having his milk and he eventually doze off to sleep.

What a day!
